Sunset Camel Ride in the Merzouga Dunes

About this activity
The sunset camel ride is the favourite moment of most of our guests – and it is included in the price of every tent at Achabou Luxury Camp.
In the late afternoon a camel guide from Merzouga leads the caravan from the camp into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Then you leave the camels and walk up a high dune. From the top you watch the sun go down behind the sand sea while the colours change from gold to orange and deep red.
When the sun has gone you ride back to the camp for mint tea, dinner and a night under the stars. Visitors who are not staying at the camp can join for €25 per person.
